The Ocean Frontiers Dive Center specializes in Open Water Referral Certifications in the Cayman Islands.  Our PADI Instructors are dedicated to giving you the best possible learning experience and certifying you as a safe and proficient Open Water Diver, ready to explore the dive sites of Grand Cayman.

Our Referral Diver Certification program is perfect for people who begin the scuba certification with a dive shop in their home country (cold) and want to complete the required four Open Water training dives in the warm waters of the Caribbean, here in Grand Cayman.

If you have successfully completed the Academic and Confined Water training, you can finish up your open water diver certification with one of our expert dive instructors at the Ocean Frontiers Dive Center in the Cayman Islands. You will meet with your scuba instructor and review what you learned before you head off to do open water dives 1 and 2. All the scuba dives are boat dives, which are easier and you get to see the better sites in  Grand Cayman. The first 2 open water dives are on a shallow coral reef, 15-25 feet, inside the East End barrier reef so it is nice and calm and then on the next day you will dive from one of our bigger boats for open water dives 3 and 4 to a maximum depth of 60 feet. After that you are a certified diver! And hopefully book some more amazing dives!

After completing the four "check-out" open water dives over a two-day period your dive instructor will sign their referral forms to verify completion. The newly certified diver can then spend the rest of his or her vacation scuba diving!

Universal Referral Completion Dives: We offer referral courses for the following diving agencies: PADI, NAUI, SDI and SSI,. Students must present referral forms from their original instructor upon check-in. Course includes all equipment, boat dives and certification materials.

Class Schedule: We offer Open Water Referral Certification Dives, every week, 52 weeks per year.  Booking online and in advance is recommended.

The cost of the Open Water Diver Referral certification is: $349.00 per person which includes all scuba rental equipment, training and dives as well as the PADI processing fee of the certification card.
