Fish ID Course schedule
1 day course, with 1/2 day classroom session and a 2-tank boat dive. The Fish ID course is normally conducted with the classroom session in the afternoon and the 2-tank dive the following day. This course can be conducted most days of the week.
Highlights
Through hands-on training during two boat dives and guidance from your PADI Instructor, you will learn:
Dive 1 includes: Practice basic fish identification techniques
Dive 2 includes: Practice fish ID data collection
What's Included
Instruction, certification, classroom lesson, fish ID slate, air tanks, belts, lead weights, towels and drinking water
What's Not Included
Cost of boat dives, Nitrox, rental gear (BCD, Regs, Wetsuit), dive computer, camera. There is no eLearning option for this specialty certification.
Prerequisities
Minimum 10 years of age
Minimum certification as a PADI Open Water, Junior Open Water Diver or similar from other training agency
Medically fit to scuba dive (review Medical Questionnaire here)
Specialty certifications with Ocean Frontiers are listed as instruction fees only and do not include the cost of the boat dives, cameras or nitrox, where applicable. The prices are structured to be 'add-on' classes to existing dives you have already booked with Ocean Frontiers.
