Monday 9th: Arrival day / Orientation, 7pm Monday evening
Tuesday 10th through Monday 16th, Instructor Development Course (IDC),
Wednesday 17th & Thursday 18th, PADI Instructor Examination (IE)
Friday 16th, Departure day
Additional days before and after the IDC may be added for a fee.
All of the IDC eLearning must be complete prior to arrival.

10 nights accommodations at Compass Point Dive Resort, sharing a two bedroom
condo with one other person = US$899.00 including 13% Tax, ppdo. Other

The IDC is conducted over a 10 day period and during this time your study and training will cover the Assistant Instructor course the open water scuba instructor (OWSI) course and the Emergency First Response course You should then be ready to sit your IE. To become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, you must successfully complete an IE (Instructor Examination).
An IE is a two-day program conducted by PADI Instructor Examiners. You will be asked to demonstrate your teaching abilities, rescue abilities and understanding of the PADI System and dive theory. It is pass-fail.
A typical day will be divided between academic presentations, confined and open water sessions, skills development, and rescue practice.
